Héctor Luis Rivera is a Puerto Rican actor, writer, director, producer and educator. Rivera started his career at the age of 15 as an actor, writer, director and producer at the Ateneo Puertorriqueño, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has been involved in the theater business for 38 years, 26 of those years with Teatro Experimental Blue Amigos (TEBA), the only Latino, bilingual and experimental theater company in Kings County, co-founded by him. With this company he has received numerous awards as an actor, director, writer, and producer. Among these awards are the OBIE Award, several ACE Awards, an ATI Award and several HOLA Awards. His biography has been included in several editions of Who’s Who Among American Students in College and Universities and The International Leadership Directory. He received the Silver Medal from The French Academy of Arts, Letters and Sciences for his literary work. Recently, he had been involved in various Independent short films and his own YouTube Channel “Héctor Luis Sin Censura”.
