Maite Uzal is an actress and singer from Madrid, Spain. She studied in New York at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). Her credits in Spain include Les Misérables (Fantine), Martin Guerre (Bertrande), and Rey León (Rafiki). Her New York credits include Hippolytus, Othello and Uncle Vanya. In film, she acted in the feature film Little Galicia and is currently a producer in the project I Am Warrior. She recently made her Repertorio Español debut as the title role of Cristóbal de Virués’ Golden Age play La gran Semíramis. A resident actress in the Rebel Theater Company, she most recently acted with them in the Peter Weiss play The (New) Trial at Theater for the New City.
