Kathy Tejada is known mainly for her work with Teatro Experimental Blue Amigos (TEBA), the company of which she is executive producer. Among her favorite parts she’s played over the years are the characters from La última poesia del continente; Dos Fridas, dos Diegos, El Señor Presidente, La casa de los siete balcones. With Thalia Spanish Theatre, she has performed in A Dangerous Game, The FLAMENCOunt of Orgaz, The Ladies of Avignon, The Prostitutes Will Precede You Into the Kingdom of Heaven, Callas and Medea, and We Women Do It Better. She has performed in many festivals with TEBA. She has also been involved in the production of several independent films and has won numerous ACE and HOLA Awards. She can be seen in October in the Elena Garro play Un hogar sólido at the Broadway Blackbox Theater, located in Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood.
